About me

I am a data scientist in the CHILI group, Computer-Human Interaction in Learning and Instruction, at the EPFL. My current work involves the analysis of MOOCs, eye-tracking data and data related projects, from statistical perspective. Before, I completed a PhD training at Université Libre de Bruxelles in mathematical statistics, working on time series analysis and functional data. I obtained two master degrees, in mathematics and in computer science, from the University of Warsaw.

On this blog I try to talk about problems encountered by me and my colleagues in machine learning, data mining, big data, time series analysis and applied statistics. Sometimes I participate in algorithmic competitions and occasionally I will try to discuss solutions of interesting problems.
